Teaching

Since 2008, I have been actively involved in teaching at several universities in Colombia, and I currently teach at three of the country’s leading universities: the National University of Colombia, the Pontifical Javeriana University in Bogotá, and the University of the Andes.

Teaching is a very important aspect of my work as a musician, and I am proud to be part of a multi-generational family tradition in teaching various fields of knowledge.

As a violin and chamber music teacher, I always strive to achieve a balance between the experience I received from my teachers of the Russian and Central European schools and the spontaneity, passion, and enjoyment of music that are so characteristic of our Latin American culture.

Below, I would like to present some technical exercises, fundamental pillars of my teaching. These exercises were developed during my training by various teachers and were compiled by my student, Mariana Herrera, as part of her undergraduate thesis.
